TECHNIQUE

A small amount of filler is injected into the area of concern. Depressed or lined skin is raised to the level of the surrounding skin.

REQUIRED TIME

10 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment and area.

OPTIMUM NUMBER OF TREATMENTS

Juvéderm™ can last six months or longer.  Repeat treatments prior to the effects dissipating will help maintain the desired look.

WHAT TO EXPECT

No downtime. Discomfort is usually mild. People usually go right back to work or normal activity post-visit.

A bruise at the injections site may last several days. Like other injection risks, there is a slight risk of infection. Previous facial herpes simplex (cold sores) may recur with injections at the affected site. Some treatments are not recommended for breastfeeding women, or those with keloid scarring.
