OPTIMUM NUMBER OF TREATMENTS

The number of treatments needed will depend on the issue being addressed, and can vary on a case by case basis. Typically, a series of three to six treatments, two to four weeks apart is recommended.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Immediately after your peel, you may feel a mild tingling sensation and tightness in your skin. You should keep your skin well moisturized. With any peel, sunscreen use is very important since you are initially much more sensitive to harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Peeling of the skin is also possible. Some people experience no peeling, while others peel for several days.

Normal activity may resume immediately following the treatment.

Hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation are rare risks. Avoid retinols, products with AHA and BHA, and other exfoliants and post-treatment sun exposure.
