TECHNIQUE

Our highly trained medical and aesthetic practitioners apply a unique blend of Salicylic, Retinoic, Phenol, and TCA Acids with Vitamin C directly to the skin. The peel remains on the skin for five hours, being removed at home. Some experience light stinging during the application, which subsides quickly.

A series of two to six treatments, two to six weeks apart will bring optimal results.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Many notice that their skin appears flushed or tan after the VI Peel treatment, with is normal and subsides shortly after the procedure.  The peeling process often begins two to four days after the procedure and can last for up to one week.  With any peel, sunscreen use is very important since you are initially much more sensitive to harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Each client receives a post peel kit with products specifically designed to work with the VI Peel and to calm the skin during the post treatment process.

Hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation are rare risks. Avoid retinols, products with AHA and BHA, and other exfoliants and post-treatment sun exposure.
