It’s never too early to begin a healthy pre-wedding skincare regimen, even months before your wedding. We asked our Aesthetician, Kavina, in Downtown Seattle, to share a series of tips and treatments so you have glowing, vibrant, healthy skin on your big day.
First, the sooner you come in the better, as it will allow for greater use of the tools available to get skin to a healthy state. Vice versa, the later you come, the less options we have available to help you. For example, some clients will need deeper peels which means some flaking of your skin which you definitely don’t want too close to your wedding day.
Over the next few weeks you will see a series of posts that you can use as a general guide with tips, treatments and timing to ensure your skin is glowing and clear for your wedding day.
Here is the first installment in the series:
Tips for a bridal glow: 1 yr – 6months prior to your event date:
1 yr to 6 months pre wedding: Start getting facials – this way you can ensure your skin will be fresh, clear and glowing and we can give you a custom timeline (based on your specific skin and how it reacts) of what to do the month before the wedding.
The advance timing is important so the aesthetician can get to know your skin and identify the most effective treatments that will give you the best result prior to your wedding. This may include any combination of peels, microdermabrasion, high frequency (for acne) etc. It really depends on your particular skin and what your concerns are.
Of course you may not be able to plan a full year in advance of a wedding, but getting as large a jump start as possible is always helpful.
