The cold dry weather of the winter presents a unique set of challenges for skincare, and this time of year we often hear questions just like this in all of our clinics.  The best solution might be to fly south for the winter and take up residence in a tropical paradise, but alas that isn’t always an option.

I have been thinking about trying laser hair removal for a few months now and I finally hit the tipping point when a friend of mine made a joke about my mustache. Apparently my current regime of bleaching isn’t working. Is it safe to use laser hair removal on the upper lip? Is it a painful process?

It seems like every season my skin changes with the weather. In the spring and summer I wear more SPF to protect myself from the sun, but what should I be doing in the fall?

That’s a great question, and one that comes up every year at this time. During the fall and winter months the air gets cooler and contains less moisture. As the temperature drops you need to elevate the moisture in your skin.
