4 Steps to Stop Seasonal Damage

October 26th, 2009

We haven’t yet discovered a way to stop the seasons from changing, so we thought we would offer you 4 tips to prep for fall (or is it winter already).

1) Plan Ahead Don’t wait for the sun to start setting early to begin planning for fall and winter. Plan ahead, visit the makeup counter and test out new products well in advance to the leaves changing color. The best way to solve a problem is to prevent it in the first place. Prep your skin for 2 weeks using active products suggested by your practitioner

2) Exfoliate Removing the top layer of skin can help you address any ongoing problem areas much more effectively. Schedule a customized peel, your practitioner will help determine which is most appropriate.

3) Don’t Forget the Vitamin C There are a number of ‘at home’ treatments, such as IS Clinical Pro Heal and IS Clinical Super Serum, which can go long way towards helping keep your skin strong even when the weather changes.

4) Embrace Change You may need to revamp your personal at home care if you skin is being adversely effected by the climate. Don’t rule anything out and don’t be afraid to schedule a seasonal consult with your practitioner. Or ask friends for suggestions when trying to develop a new skin care regime.
