Staff
Our protocols look good on you, thanks to a highly qualified staff.
Caring, passionate and experienced professionals at Calidora are a critical part of our excellence.
Because the safety and efficacy of your treatments are our number one priority, we only use licensed medical professionals, including doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses, for all aesthetic medical procedures, including laser treatments, injectables and aggressive chemical peels. Our medical practitioners receive extensive training in laser physics, physiology of skin, and the neuro-muscular anatomy of the face, with oversight and direction by our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Richard Baxter. Additionally, we have developed proprietary medical protocols for all of our treatments that go far beyond what is common and mandated in state law, setting the bar for excellence in the industry.
In addition to basic training offered by our manufacturers, Calidora provides hours of advanced classroom and hands-on training at our advanced training center before all medical and aesthetic practitioners are approved for treating clients. Such training, coupled with our state-of-the-art equipment and superior products, assures that there is no better choice for your skincare needs than Calidora Skin Clinic.
From our client relations representatives, to our skin practitioners, to our clinic managers, we hire the very best in class. We are skincare experts, committed to delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
Our Onsite Medical Staff
At Calidora, we are committed to hiring experienced, licensed medical staff including physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners to perform medical aesthetic treatments, including the operation of all lasers. We are proud to be on the forefront of safety and proprietary medical protocols that ensure our client's comfort and the efficacy of our results.
Beginning in March 2007, a mandate by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requires all clinics, spas, and beauty salons that offer laser treatments to have a licensed physician, Physician's Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner perform the initial client evaluation and be there for the introductory treatment.
At Calidora, we have taken the DOH mandate one step further by not only having licensed medical practitioner's onsite supervising treatments, but also performing the treatments on our clients.
As always, we encourage all of our clients to ask questions about our practitioners, their individual treatment goals and our recommended treatment plans. Calidora's expert staff is available to address all of their individual needs.
